Service Information - Suspension Springs

Suspension springs should always be replaced in pairs, even if only one spring is broken on the axle. The reason is that suspension springs can drop as much as 25 mm over time.

By installing only one newspring on one axle, the chassis geometry provided by the manufacturer may be used no longer be guaranteed. For fast lane changes or in braking situations, the vehicle is in the worst case not controllable.

MAPCO Suspension Springs are specially designed for the after-market. Their form meets the same criteria like the original part, but can be used for more vehicle models suitable. Neither the function of the spring, nor the ride height of the car are affected by the dimensional deviations (length, wire thickness, etc.)
MAPCO Suspension Springs enable timely repair.
