NEW: Innovative HPS Carbon Brake Pads

The new rubbers are made of a high-tech blend of carbon-kevlar®, which accounts for at least 15 percent. The extreme material hardness leads to significantly reduced abrasion on the brake disc. This increases the life of the pads and leads to a noticeable improvement in ride comfort. Since the optimum operating temperature of the high-quality rubbers is 700 degrees under all driving conditions, overheating of the rubbers is not possible. The dreaded brake feeding with a long press on the brake pedal is eliminated. The glazing of the coverings can only occur to a minor extent. The high-quality Carbon Kevlar® mix also decisively prevents rusting during extended periods of use or corrosion due to moisture and gritting salts.

The new HPS carbon brake pads spare the purse of the motorists. Because the approximately 50 percent longer life saves costs due to lower replacement requirements and shorter repair times. Immediately after installation, the new HPS carbon brake pads show their tangible benefits. Instead of the so far about 200-kilometer run-in phase, the carbon pads need a few brakes and only about 50 kilometers long Brake-in period. The wet braking properties are noticeably better than with standard rubbers. This also includes the absence of pedal and steering wheel flaps and rubbing the coating. The lower abrasion results in significantly less brake dust with positive consequences for the environment. Carbon brakes contribute less to the particulate matter in the air, especially in cities. As the rims are less soiled, the use of aggressive rim cleaners can be reduced many times over.
